Understanding grief
We aim to understand you and your loved ones wishes as much as possible and to help you get the funeral you want. The last thing we want is for you to attend the funeral of a loved one that has elements that you don't like.
It is only by asking you that we find out what you do and don't want and, therefore, cease causing unnecessary upset on the day of the funeral.
The arrangements are fully in your control. It is up to you to decide the kind of funeral that would be a fitting tribute to a life that has been lived.
From the time your loved one passed away to the day of the funeral, we will be in touch daily, keeping you informed of progress with the arrangements. We will build up a close relationship with you, whilst we cannot take away your sadness, we will help to relieve you of the entire burden.
There will be the offer of help around the house, including shopping and cleaning. We offer to help to relieve the stress of carrying out the daily chores. This means that you can concentrate on the most important thing: helping your family and yourself through your loss.
If you would like to pay your last respects, you have full access to our bereavement home on the days leading up to the funeral. When you come to our bereavement home you will have your own area, where you can sit alone.
