Tracey aids the grieving process

A bereavement counsellor has been appointed by a West Yorkshire funeral director to offer a groundbreaking after-care service for relatives and friends.

Manager Edward Box welcomes bereavement counsellor Tracey Cusick to the family firm

Eric F Box of Dewsbury has recruited Tracey Cusick to provide support for its families during the weeks and months following a death.

Tracey discovered the firm's web site while working for the CRUSE bereavement service and struck an immediate rapport when she contacted the Box family.

Manager Edward Box said: "We've found that the most important part of coming to terms with the loss of a loved one is after the funeral service.

"It is a very British trait to say nothing and not ask for help, when really the best way of dealing with the situation is the exact opposite.
