Aftercare Support
The aftercare we give to families includes a visit firstly from the funeral director who dealt with your loved ones funeral, who will then introduce you to our aftercare manager, Polly Bennet.
Polly will be there for you during your time of need. Whether you need help with filling out forms that you do not fully understand or talking to you when you are down, we will be there for you.
Polly is also a fully trained bereavement counsellor. If you feel as though this could benefit you, the service can be provided. Or, if you prefer, we can provide you with a series of books to borrow from our bereavement library that you may find comforting.
In the year after the funeral we hold memorial services at our bereavement home, to which you and you family will be invited back to remember the person who passed away. We also provide help at special times throughout the year, such as birthdays, Mothers day, Father's day and anniversaries of the death.
Our aim is to be there for you during the funeral and afterwards, to try to ease the bereavement process for you as much as possible.
