The funeral day

What will happen on the day of the Funeral?

To help you on the day of the funeral we will ensure the smooth running of events and take on the role of master of ceremonies, carrying out the task of guiding and overseeing the funeral of your loved one.  

There will be also at least four members of staff present for your convenience.   We will ensure professional, dignified attendance and supervision throughout the funeral.  

During the day of the funeral, the following will take place:

Paging the Cortege

We will 'Page the Cortege', during which we escort the funeral coach on foot until all vehicles in the funeral procession have been assembled.

Shouldering the Coffin

We will carry your loved one at shoulder height during then ceremony.  If you would like to carry your loved one as a family, just ask.

If you will not be around family and friends after the funeral or would like to have company we can be with you when you need us.

We will help you around the house and more importantly, we will talk and listen to you, so you are not alone after the funeral has taken place.
